ARTIST: Boyz Bieber

American, born 1985. Now based in New York City, He received a BFA in 2011 from UCLA, and a Masters in Digital Photography in 2016 from the School of Visual Arts. He is currently a freelance photographer and assistant teacher at the School of Visual Arts in New York.

"I couldn’t say my real name when i was learning to talk and just sort of mumbled “boy-z”. Pronounced like the city in Idaho, spelled like Boyz II Men. Was such a little brat that I would throw a tantrum if people didn’t call me Boyz... so it just sort of stuck. My real given name is Jossi Gandhi Bieber.  Kind of hit the jackpot but it’s a lot to live up to."
